Product Details

The Asics Gel Braid running shoe lets you run longer while expending less energy. GUIDESOLE™ technology in this sole has improved cushioning to reduce muscle load at foot strike. It does this with a combination of FLYTEFOAM™ technology and GEL™ technology cushioning. The stiff forefoot and dynamically curved sole increase running efficiency by reducing the movement of the ankle joint.

Product Features

GEL™

Our iconic GEL ™ technology provides superior shock absorption where you need it most, for a more comfortable ride. Developed in our Institute for Sport Science, GEL™ technology reduces the impact of every stride on your body.

FLYTEFOAM™

Our breakthrough midsole foam is 55% lighter than the industry standard, giving you an ultralight and responsive ride. Developed in our Institute of Sport Science, FlyteFoam™ cushioning makes it easy for you to hit your top speed.

GUIDESOLE™

GUIDESOLE™ technology - new geometry, constructed by ASICS. It is a combination of main elements, which are proven to reduce the energy loss in the ankle joint movement. A soft, curved sole, 2 layer midsole, provide the stiffness and 3D Guidance Line, which moves the center of mass contributing to the reduction of the energy loss in each stride.

Pronation

Pronation is part of the natural movement of the human body and refers to the way your foot rolls inward for impact distribution upon landing. Understanding your pronation type can help you find a comfortable running shoe. The GEL-BRAID is made for Neutral and Overpronation.
