I am a Pakistani based in Dubai UAE. I am the first female in my family running marathons and feel very humbled to be a part of the first generation of Pakistani women running marathons. I started running after having 3 children, around 3 years ago to lose postpartum weight. I could barely run 200 meters. My running goals have since then changed from weight loss to wellness and performance. I
aim to encourage women to engage in movement and sports for their mental wellbeing and also bring diversity and inclusion into the marathon sport.
Biggest Achievement
When my sister ran her first half marathon, when my friend signed up for running club, when my husband started running and cycling. Bringing positive changes in people’s lives are my biggest
achievements. On my personal front, I keep striving for better and I think my biggest achievement is yet to come.
