My name is Saleh. I have lived with CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy) for the past 26 years.
I have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, and work in the telecom sector as a data scientist. My first experience with sports was at the age of 14. It started with football, extended to cycling and then running, and strength conditioning.Sports is a vital element in my life, as it helps me to manage my CIDP. Before running, I was using a wheelchair, but with training and medication, my balance improved fast. With my experience, I hope to encourage people who face challenges to break their fear barriers and start their journey with running.
Being diagnosed with the condition made me want to overcome the restrictions that it imposed, whether that was through attempting a marathon or finishing an extensive workout.
My personal achievements include completing obstacles races, and marathons.
I am passionate about inspiring others with auto immunity diseases, to live a healthy and active life.
