AFEW X ASICS GEL-LYTE™ III “Beauty of Imperfection”
Following our previous successful collaborations, we teamed up with AFEW again for a new GEL-LYTE™ III release. Inspired by the Japanese Wabi-Sabi philosophy, the AFEW x ASICS GEL-LYTE™ III “Beauty of Imperfection” sneaker was designed to embody the beauty that lies in imperfection. The shoe’s ASICS stripes feature a “Wear Away” upper that forms its own texture as the shoe is worn and change colour from green to pink rendering each pair unique over time.
Made of premium materials, the silhouette features a beige suede upper, purple heels and purple stitching on the inner ASICS stripes. For the first time ever on a GEL-LYTE™ III model, this sneaker has leather heel protectors. The shoes also boast printed cord sockliners and gum soles for a truly unique take on this ASICS classic.
