EVORIDE™ 2

This is the lightest shoe of this group. Weighing only 230/190gm for men’s and women’s respectively, but with a thickness midsole of 26-21mm in men’s/ 25-20mm in women’s in the rear to forefoot, this shoe creates a light footprint sensation.

With a pitch of 5mm, ASICS have integrated GUIDESOLE™ technology in the forefoot to give the all-present rock forward sensation. The HEEL CUTAWAY encourages the runner to land on the heel to give a full rock effect. Underfoot the MIDSOLE is a firmer (53) density FLYTEFOAM™ and this was noticeable compared to the more frontal focused shoes.

The tooling suits a normal to wide foot and the OUTSOLE is substantial in thickness, giving a durable option for heavier or slower styles of gait.

This shoe is also great for speed walking. The long striding walker will naturally make contact on the rear bevelled heel feature of the shoe, enabling the rocker to encourage body movement forward over the foot.
