Our approach for the GT-1000® 14 (Wide) shoe was to modernize the shoe with more energized cushioning experience.

The midsole is updated with FF BLAST™ cushioning in the midsole. It's designed to help create cloud like cushioning and a more energetic response.

This design also features a 3D GUIDANCE SYSTEM™ to help increase stability for a balanced and confident stride.

  • Engineered jacquard mesh upper – A lightweight, breathable mesh material helps reduce the need for additional overlays
  • 3D GUIDANCE SYSTEM™ – Adaptive, on-demand stability system achieved through platform geometry and controlled deformation
  • FF BLAST™ cushioning – Midsole foam that provides a blend of cloud like cushioning and a responsive ride
  • Rearfoot PureGEL® technology – Softer, updated version of our GEL® technology. Approximately 65% softer vs standard GEL® technology
  • Hybrid Max Lite sockliner – Designed to help provide advanced moisture management, breathability, and cushioning properties
  • AHAR® LO outsole rubber – A lower-density rubber placed in key areas of the outsole for reliable grip and traction without sacrificing durability
  • AHARPLUS™ outsole rubber – ASICS®' pinnacle high abrasion resistant rubber located in the heel area. It's approximately three times more durable than standard outsole rubbers
  • Wide Fit

Designed For Neutral/Overpronation

Neutral

Foot Type: Normal-size arches.

Push-Off: You experience even distribution from the front of the foot.

Considered Injuries: Getting hurt is less likely due to effective shock absorption, but not impossible.

How Your Foot Contacts the Ground: Your foot lands on the outside of the heel and then rolls inward, absorbing impact on the body.

Overpronation

Foot Type: Low arches or flat feet.

Push-Off: Big toe and second toe do majority of the work.

Considered Injuries: Shin splints, plantar fasciitis, bunions, heel spurs.

How Your Foot Contacts the Ground: The foot lands on outside of heel, then rolls inward (pronates) excessively, transferring weight to inner edge instead of ball of the foot.
