Om mig

I’m Amalie, 25 years old, based in Copenhagen and currently studying Digital Concept Development.

My running journey truly took off around 4 years ago, and what began as a small curiosity quickly turned into something I can’t imagine my life without. My first half maraton in the summer of 2024, and later my marathon in 2025, became big moments for me and really marked how far my running journey had come, reminding me that we’re often capable of so much more than we think, and that there’s nothing like the feeling of crossing the finish line after months of training.

I really enjoy the discipline that comes with running, but also the mental break it gives me. It’s my way to reset. At the same time, the running community means a lot to me. The shared motivation and sense of belonging reminds me what I loved about playing football - being part of a team and something bigger.
