Running is where I feel most like myself. It’s my safe space where I clear my head, listen to my body, and reconnect with who I am, especially in moments when I feel lost.
I grew up doing athletics, competing in the 400m hurdles. I loved the intensity and explosiveness of sprinting over the barriers, but no one could ever convince me to run for more than five minutes straight. Now, somehow, I’m in love with marathons. I had to stop when I started university, but I came back to running five years ago. With everything going on in my day‑to‑day life, running became my time, a commitment I made to myself. A moment of calm, clarity, and freedom in the middle of it all.
What I love most is that running meets you exactly where you are. You can run for joy, for focus, or simply to be alone with your thoughts. It’s not always about chasing limits, it’s about getting to know yourself more deeply, one step at a time.
The day I joined the ASICS FrontRunner community is one of the most special and joyful moments for me. Being part of a team that celebrates movement, shares passion, and lifts each other up, that’s something I’ll never take for granted.
