Employee wellbeing is our top priority.

We are committed to supporting the physical and mental wellbeing of everyone who works at ASICS. That’s why we provide employees with a number of resources to help them achieve and maintain a sound mind in a sound body:

Dedicating time to prioritise wellbeing.

Uplift Week is all about dedicating time to focus on our mental wellbeing. Twice a year, we host a week of activities, workshops and events to help everyone live uplifted. It allows us to come together as a team to experience the positive impact of movement on body and mind.

Together, we can uplift the world.

We believe every one of us can make a difference. And so, when you join ASICS, you join a team that is working together to bring about positive change through movement. Each year we raise funds for organisations that help uplift the world through sport and movement. Organisations like Right To Play and mental health charity, Mind.

Mind

By partnering with Mind, we aim to support more people to improve their mental health by becoming more physically active. Since partnering with Mind in 2021, ASICS campaigns have raised valuable funds. The funds raised support Mind’s physical activity programmes, which encourage those of us with mental health problems to be more active to support our mental health. And more specifically, have enabled Mind to set up ASICS Get Active running groups and conduct valuable research into mental health in elite athletes.

Right To Play

ASICS was founded to improve the physical and mental health of young people in post-war Japan through sport. And that founding purpose is still at the core of everything we do. This is why we have partnered with Right To Play, a non-profit organisation. Right To Play protects, educates and empowers children to rise above adversity using the power of sport and play, and reaches 2.3 million children each year.

We want our teams to thrive.

At ASICS, helping our people develop and grow is important to us. So, when you join our team, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills. As an office-based employee, you'll have access to various tools to help you do so, like:

Our focus is to create spaces and programmes where our teams can grow, learn, and move. And we’re committed to creating an inclusive space where individuals and ideas can thrive.

Creating a more diverse and inclusive environment.

ASICS’ approach to Diversity and Inclusion has been informed by a survey of our global workforce. This is why we established a D&I Committee that has been focused on rolling out several key initiatives, aimed at affecting organisational development, improving team dynamics, mobilising leadership and providing the link between the business and its goals. Initiatives such as Commitment and Accountability training for senior leadership and Essential Diversity & Inclusion training.

Diverse thinking has the power to change the world.

We believe that the sound thinking of diverse minds can change the world. We need people who look at the world from every angle to help broaden and deepen our positive impact on society. That is why we are committed to inclusion across race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, and gender identity. And in March 2021, we took an important step in our ASICS EMEA diversity and inclusion journey by signing the Diversity & Inclusion Charter. At ASICS, we’re focused on creating an inclusive environment that fosters diversity and individualism as well as healthy bodies and healthy minds.
