Your role in our shared journey

As Senior Commercial Business Controller located at ASICS Nordic Head Office in Gothenburg, you'll contribute to our mission by delivering key insights to drive profitable growth across the organization. You'll play a key role in delivering pricing insights, supporting strategic planning processes, and monitoring end-to-end channel and product category profitability to help ASICS achieve its business objectives.

 
In the role, you’ll be part of our team of Commercial Business Controllers and report into our Head of Commercial Business Control. Your responsibilities will be the Nordic and Benelux Commercial Region and you will support and work closely together with our Sales Director Nordics & Benelux.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Review, analyze and report the P&L areas that belong to the role for the actuals, annual financial plans and quarterly forecast, with an action driven mind-set to improve contribution margin
• Contribute, support and influence the short & mid-term strategy and short-term tactics from a category, channel, customer perspective with a focus on contribution margin in the responsible market or subchannels
• Own final financial submissions and provide stakeholders with valuable fact-based and data driven insights for the monthly business review, Annual Financial Planning, Quarterly Forecasts and Seasonal Target Setting.
• Responsible for full P&L Business cases (new initiatives, countries, products, channels)
• Own and continuously improve forecasting, budget processes and financial reporting

 
You have the following skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accountancy
• Minimally 8 years working experience in accounting or controlling teams
• Preferably experience in a FMCG/Sporting goods/Wholesale/Retail environment, Ecommerce is a plus
• Experience in forecasting and budgeting processes and long-term forecasting, preferably in an international business
• Experience with SAP, SAP BI, SAP Analytics Cloud Reporting is a plus
• Strong personal efficiency with high attention for detail
• Pro-active attitude and strong sense of ownership, ability to influence others to gain buy in for ideas/projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills, ability to explain Finance topics to non-financials
• Good command of written and spoken English. Knowledge in Swedish/Danish/Norwegian or Finnish is a plus
• Advanced Skills in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel, PowerPoint, Thinkcell
