WHERE HE USES IT
I use the Tartherzeal on asphalt, concrete or paving, depending on the race course and in training I use it either on asphalt or a tartan track.
I was really impressed with how good the shoe felt from the very first few steps I took in them. When I ran fast I got an excellent response when toeing off the ground and it felt like I was running naturally with ease.
In addition, the amazing grip was noticeable straight away. Especially in damp and wet conditions.
FEEL
I was doing 200m speedwork on the track and the first thing I noticed was that I could easily maintain a high leg speed without extra effort as the shoe is really light.
The grip and bounce that I got while running was better than anything I used before. The comfort is also very good because it feels like the shoe is moulded around my foot.
RECOMMENDATIONS
I would recommend the shoe to other triathletes who are competing in a sprint, Olympic or even a 70.3 race as well as road runners, who are running between 5km and marathon.
What makes it a great triathlon shoe in my experience is the fact that it has very good grip. My type of racing is very versatile and on different surfaces and irrespective of the weather conditions, I don’t lose any traction on any of the surfaces.
It’s a comfortable fast racing shoe, so slipping them on after the bike helps you get into stride very quickly.
