ASICS FrontRunner, Quaniet Jakoet took the GT-2000 on the road.

Here are a few thoughts:
I have been using the GT-2000 for a few weeks now, and I alternate the shoe with some others. The GT-2000 is made for mild and mid-level pronation support, and offers a good structured build quality that really helps stop foot collapse from happening. Despite its support, the shoe is rather lightweight, so it’s suitable for shorter and faster events and training, as well as longer runs.

To sum up the shoe, it offers robustness in many ways: upper support, midsole stability with responsiveness, torsion-resistance, affordability, and all-around functionality.

It’s a very nice lightweight shoe for pronation support. It’s a good compromise in terms of its weight compared to other stability shoes. It feels like I can take these shoes on good solid tempo runs. Heavier runners would also feel at home in this shoe, because it offers ample cushioning.

The shoe itself is designed to take you through all the way to marathon and ultra-marathon distance; so, I recommend this shoe to anyone who pronates and is looking for a good balance between cushioning, support, and being lightweight.

ASICS GT-2000 7
also gives improved stability thanks to a new underlayer support system and Stability Trusstic which prevents your feet from moving around inside the shoe and helps you stay aligned no matter how far you go. Guidance line technology gives added support to keep you in your natural line of motion.

We've added extra room in the forefoot, creating more space for the big toe to give more flexibility for all foot shapes. And for extra comfort, our Jacquard mesh technology helps ventilate the shoe to keep your feet cool. This is all reinforced by the improved moulded EVA sockliner, which provides an extra layer of breathability and moisture management.

Excellent and reliable grip is vital for any runner, and the ASICS GT-2000-7 has got it covered. The ASICS High Abrasion Resistance rubber outsole is designed to give extra traction, keeping you safe and secure on any road surface.
