What makes running t-shirts different?

A running top is a specifically designed piece of running clothing that’s intended to help you to train to the best of your abilities. What makes them different from other kinds of tops?

• Sweat wicking: One of the most important features of a running t-shirt is the ability to wick sweat. Run tops are made from fabrics such as nylon and polyester which draw moisture away from your skin and to the outside, where it can then evaporate easily. If you go running in tops made from materials like cotton or wool, the fibres absorb the water, meaning they become heavier and are more likely to chafe. 
• Breathable: When you exercise, your body temperature increases. The best running t-shirts include various features to help keep you cool and prevent overheating.
• Range of motion: Running tops should allow you to move your arms and torso with complete freedom, so you don’t feel restricted when pumping your arms or balancing as you run downhill.
