GEL-CUMULUS 23
This lightweight shoe will instantly attract many runners who seek a subtle and refined feel from their shoe.
The MIDSOLE is highly cushioned with both forefoot and rearfoot GEL, yet with a slightly lower stack height than the GEL-NIMBUS™ with a 10mm pitch. There is a sense of honest connection with the ground, particularly helpful on groomed trails or running in low light. The FLYTEFOAM™ MIDSOLE has proven durability in response to both landing and propulsion phase gait.
The new GEL CUMULUS™ 23 excels particularly in the under carriage. It has decent grip in the rain. The sculpting of the sole in the mid-section is subtle, giving an almost stabilising component and no requirement for TRUSSTIC presence. For the runner who may at times tire or simply experience a less than average run experience, relying on subtle support in the shoe’s mid-section is key. The GEL CUMULUS™ 23 is suited to a fast runner who isn’t looking for up-sized cushioning or bound, but a shoe that finely enhances and protects. It is also suited to the beginner runner who chooses a shorter distance, less often. Additionally, it is a key option for the long-time runner who may not necessarily be fast but has good, plyometric bound gait or neurologically-based gait efficiency.
