META : Time : Trials Thailand 2026

ASICS is thrilled to announce the return of the highly anticipated ASICS META: Time : Trials Thailand 2026. Now in its fifth edition, it is set to take place once again in Thailand on August 16 with a 10km race route which will take place in the heart of Bangkok.

Race start and cut-off time

  • The race uses a Start Pen system, where runners in each Pen start at the same time, grouped by speed to maintain safe distances, reduce congestion, and minimize the risk of collisions.
  • The starting point is open to runners from 4:35 AM
  • The start point closes at 5:26 AM. Runners who arrive late after this time will not be allowed to run. The race results will be posted as DNS (Did Not Start).

If a runner arrives later than this time, they will not be able to start the run and will be considered a DNS (Did Not Start).

Entering the Start Zone

Runners must enter through the entrance corresponding to your assigned pen. To find the correct Pen entrance, match the following information on your bib with the Pen entrance sign - refer to the bib frame colour (bottom left corner of the bib) and the Pen printed on your bib.

  • Pen A – Orange | Text “Pen A”
  • Pen B – Blue | Text “Pen B”
  • Pen C – Yellow | Text “Pen C”

Example: If you received a yellow bib (Pen C) → enter the Pen C entrance (yellow sign) and wait for the start time at 5:11 AM after Pen B has started.


Important race information

  1. Please read the ASICS META : Time : Trials Thailand 2026 runner’s guide in its entirety.
  2. You must bring your race bib with you on race day. You must attach your race bib to the front of your race shirt with the provided pin or use a running belt. Do not fold, cut or alter your race bib in any way. You must display your race bib upon entering the start point entrance area.
  3. It is strictly forbidden to allow others to race on your behalf, or for you to race on someone else's behalf, for a number of reasons, primarily for safety reasons and to prevent confusion in the event of any unforeseen circumstances during the race.
  4. Please familiarize yourself with the race route – this is your responsibility on race day.
  5. Please arrive at least one hour prior to your start time to avoid crowding - please note the start closing times, information is in the Start Pen Info section.
  6. If you feel unwell during the race, please do not continue running and seek assistance from our team. Medical and nursing services are available along the route to provide assistance. If you require hospitalization or other medical services outside of the event's medical team, the costs will be borne by the participant.
  7. Please keep to the left to allow faster runners to pass. If you see a slower runner on the right side of the lane, please shout "Right side, sir/ma'am." Please be polite and move to the left when you hear this!
  8. Help keep the event clean and environmentally friendly! Please be responsible and dispose of empty cups and trash in the provided bins.

How to Collect Race Pack

To pick up race pack, please prepare the following documents

  1. Identification card or passport or driving license or any other governmental documents stated personal information (accepted actual documents, printing and file)
  2. Confirmation email stated your registration number

Please Verify Your Information

When collecting your BIB and timing chip, please carefully verify the following information:

  • Full Name
  • Gender
  • Nationality
  • Age Group

These details will be used for official rankings and prize eligibility.

If you find any incorrect information, please notify our staff by 7:00 PM on 15 August 2026.

No changes can be made after this deadline.


The Following Changes Are Not Permitted

  • Runner substitutions
  • T-shirt size changes (if the size matches your original registration)

Race Pack Collection by a Representative

If you are unable to collect your Race Pack in person, a representative may collect it on your behalf by presenting:

  • Your registration and payment confirmation email
  • Your original National ID Card, Passport, or Driver's License

Important Notes

  • The registered name must match the name on the identification document.
  • Race Packs will only be distributed during the designated collection dates and times.
  • Race Pack Collection will NOT be available on Race Day.


    Rules and Regulations

      1. Gun time will be used to determine the winners for invitational & open Category.
      2. Chip time will be used to determine the winners in the Age Group category.
      3. Only runners who register in the Open category are eligible to compete in the Age Group category.
      4. The winners must be present at the winner report tent within 30 minutes after the official
      result is announced.
      5. The winners must be registered through the system and provide proof of identification
      to redeem the prize.
      6. This event is conducted in accordance with the anti-doping regulations of Doping Control Agency of Thailand (DCAT).
      7. Random anti-doping tests may be conducted on athletes finishing in positions 1–3 in both the
      male and female invitational category.
      8. Selected athletes must fully comply with all testing procedures in order to remain eligible
      for prizes and official race results. Failure to comply with the anti-doping procedures may
      result in disqualification in accordance with applicable regulations.
      9. If the case of an error at the checkpoint, the average time will be calculated from the
      checkpoint before and after.
      10.The runner who cannot provide valid proof of identification is subject to
      disqualification and may not redeem the prize.
      11. Any contest to the result, the runner has to submit the form and 1,000 THB deposit. The
      runner has no right to inquire directly with the technical staff or/and committee.
      12. The decision of the committee will be final and conclusive.

      Top 100 Male & Top 100 Female Award Rules and Regulations

      • The Top 100 Male and Top 100 Female awards will be presented to the first 100 finishers in the Men's and Women's categories, based on the Chip Time.
      • Rankings will be determined using Chip Time (the elapsed time from the official race start for each pen to the finish line).
      • Runners must pass all Timing Checkpoints designated by the event organizer. Failure to do so will result in disqualification from receiving the award.
      • Runners must wear their race bib and timing chip correctly and ensure they are clearly visible throughout the race.
      • Runners must complete the race within the official Time Limit to be eligible for the award.
      • Any runner found transferring or using another person's race bib, cutting the course, or violating the race rules will be disqualified (DQ) and will forfeit all award eligibility.
      • Award recipients must present their race bib together with a valid national ID card, passport, or other government-issued identification as required by the organizer to verify their identity before claiming the award.
      • Top 100 awards must be collected on Race Day only. No awards will be shipped or delivered after the event.
      • The decisions of the Race Referee and the Organizing Committee shall be final.
