At ASICS we stand behind our products and are happy to assist you, as consumer, if you have any issues with the quality or performance of our gear.

Limited Warranty

ASICS Canada Corporation (“ASICS”) warrants to the original consumer purchaser (“Consumer”) in Canada and its territories that its footwear products will be free from manufacturing defects for one (1) year from the date of purchase and its apparel and accessories products will be free from manufacturing defects for six (6) months from the date of purchase. This warranty applies only to ASICS products that were purchased by the Consumer directly from ASICS or from an ASICS-authorized retailer that is subject to ASICS’ quality control requirements, is required to follow ASICS’ policies and procedures, and is in full compliance with ASICS’ policies and procedures, unless otherwise prohibited by law. ASICS reserves the right to reject warranty claims from a Consumer related to products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized Internet sites. This warranty does not cover any defects due to improper fit, normal wear and tear, damage due to improper use, misuse or abnormal usage, failure to follow product instructions, modification or alteration to the product, unauthorized repair or negligence.

Consumers who wish to make a warranty claim based upon a product manufacturing defect must submit a claim to ASICS via email that can be found here. A copy of the Consumer’s proof of purchase for the defective product may be required for any warranty claim and ASICS may follow up with the Consumer for additional information. If ASICS determines that a product is defective and covered by this limited warranty, ASICS will, in its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective product at ASICS’ cost, or provide a credit of the original purchase price for Consumer to purchase a different ASICS product.

This Limited Warranty and the remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all others, whether oral or written, expressed, implied or statutory. There are no warranties which extend beyond those indicated herein. Following repair or replacement, at ASICS’ option, the remaining warranty on the repaired or replaced product is the remainder of the relevant portion of this limited warranty on the original product purchased, or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer. Any implied warranties that may be applicable to the products, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are expressly disclaimed by ASICS to the maximum extent permitted by law and, otherwise, limited in duration to the duration of this warranty. In no event and under no circumstances shall the total liability of ASICS and its personnel and representatives to you or any other person for all loss and damage, under any and all theories of liability, arising from, connected with, or related to this limited warranty or the defective product, ever exceed the purchase price for the defective product regardless of any fault or wrongdoing (including gross negligence) by ASICS or any person for whom ASICS is responsible and even if ASICS has been advised of the possibility of the loss or damage being incurred. Without limitation to the generality of the foregoing, ASICS is not responsible or liable for any special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages based upon breach of this limited warranty, breach of contract or strict liability.

This limited warranty is value and enforceable only in Canada. The laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein shall govern this limited warranty and all undertakings of ASICS under this limited warranty. Notwithstanding the foregoing, for consumers residing in Quebec, the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable therein shall govern.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law: (i) there are no warranties which extend beyond those provided herein; and (ii) such warranties do not extend to any product purchased through the ASICS Road Tested program. Any implied warranties that may be applicable to the products, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the duration of the applicable warranty periods above. Some Provinces in Canada do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation of warranty may not apply to you in whole or in part. Under no circumstances shall ASICS be liable pursuant to this limited warranty in excess of the actual amount paid for the product. Where any term of this limited warranty is prohibited by applicable local law, such term shall be null and void or shall be deemed modified so as to be consistent with such local law, and, in either case, the remainder of this limited warranty shall remain in effect.

By submitting a warranty claim you agree that all approval or rejection of claims are final and ASICS is solely responsible at its discretion for determining the method of replacing or repairing the product or issuing a credit, including the determination of the credit amount.
