The GEL-NIMBUS 25 shoe prioritises comfort, featuring an updated tongue and collar construction, along with several enhancements to the shoe’s cushioning. Here’s an in-depth review of the GEL-NIMBUS 25 model, including all the new features in the shoe and the benefits they offer.
1. Lighter midsole cushioning for a springier ride
The GEL-NIMBUS 25 shoe is the most cushioned GEL-NIMBUS model to date. The new midsole design features a single layer of FF BLAST PLUS ECO cushioning, replacing the FLYTEFOAM and FF BLAST PLUS technologies used in the previous model.
By raising the stack height by 6mm in the forefoot and 4mm in the rearfoot, the GEL-NIMBUS 25 shoe now features an 8mm stack height. This ensures superior comfort for long and short runs and everything in between.
2. Smoother motion transition
Another feature that sets the GEL-NIMBUS 25 shoe apart is the PureGEL™ technology positioned in the shoe’s rearfoot. The soft and light PureGEL™ technology offers a softer feel and creates smoother transitions during your stride with impact absorption.
3. Better fit and stronger support for your feet
GEL-NIMBUS 25 features an updated knit tongue and collar construction, which provides better flexibility and extends around the ankle to create a more comfortable fit. The new soft knit upper comfortably wraps and supports your foot while allowing for enhanced ventilation.
4. Protection from front to back
Offering heel-to-toe protection and abrasion resistance, our newest GEL-NIMBUS 25 running shoe is an everyday trainer you can trust. AHAR™ low density technology in the forefoot paired with AHARPLUS™ technology in the heel increases the shoe’s durability and allows for better grip.
5. Made with more sustainable materials
ASICS strives to create high-quality, eco-friendly products. The updated design of the GEL-NIMBUS 25 shoe features a new midsole foam that’s made with at least 20% bio-based content vs. GEL-NIMBUS 24.
