ASICSUKFrontRunnerWeekofMarathons

Over the past 7 days the UK & Ireland team have ran a total of 17 marathons covering over 445.4 miles!!!

Last Sunday six of the team headed to Manchester Marathon with some rapid running from Pete Stables smashing his PB by 10 mins and breaking the 3hr barrier in 2.59.19. His wife Holly Stables paced him the whole way to come in with her 28th sub 3hr marathon.

Geoff Ridout finished in 3.31, Adam Tango Holland in 2.58 and Victoria and Dennis Sutton finished their 'Mari-thon" in 5.47.

Boston Marathon was a very special race for Sally Brider as this was her last race in her 6 Star journey. Finishing in 5.20 in her 60th year. Sally is now an Abbotts World Marathon Major 6 Star finisher.

Yesterday we saw 10 of the team race, pace and break records on the streets of London.

Huge congratulations to:

Sonny Peart - 5.31

Loren Peta - 3.14 and a big PB

Semeena Khan - paced 5hr group

Bilal Hussain - 3.33

Victor Garrick - 3.12 - 30min PB

Yiannis Christodoulou -2.44 PB

Mohamed Hamid - 3.54

Alannah Woodward - 7.21

Adam Tango Holland also raced himself in to the World Record books again pacing Paralympic Gold medallist Richard Whitehead MBE to a new WR in 2.43.
