The GT-2000â„¢ 11 GS (Grade School) shoe is a versatile stability trainer that's functional for various distances. We've updated the underfoot cushioning to make it feel more comfortable and energetic.
Key adjustments in the midsole include our FF BLASTâ„¢ cushioning. This soft material helps promote softer landings and a responsive rebound.
LITETRUSSâ„¢ technology is positioned on the inside of the midsole to improve stability. It helps prevent your foot from rolling too far inward, setting you up for a smoother stride.
Pronation is part of the natural movement of the human body and refers to the way your foot rolls inward for impact distribution upon landing. Understanding your pronation type can help you find a comfortable running shoe. The GT-2000 11 GS is made for Overpronation.
Low arches or flat feet
Big toe and second toe do majority of the work.
The foot lands on outside of heel, then rolls inward (pronates) excessively, transferring weight to inner edge instead of ball of the foot.

What type of shoes are you looking for?
Men and women have different needs to support their gait, foot structure, and biomechanics. ASICS designs gender-specific running shoes to improve performance, comfort and safety.
Where do you plan to run?
If the majority of your running takes place off road, trail shoes can provide performance and safety that road designed shoes cannot.
Which is more important to you?
Distance
Built for distance, these shoes have extra cushioning - providing more protection. You love to challenge yourself to run for longer.
Speed
Built for speed, these shoes are lighter for a more responsive ride. You love to run fast, train for speed and feel like flying.
Do you need extra support?
Stability

Neutral
For underpronators and neutral runners who are predisposed to an outward or neutral rolling motion as the foot progresses toward toe-off.
Research shows that around 4 in 5 runners risk injury in shoes that don't suit their running style.
Pronation is the natural movement of your feet while running. Stability shoes are recommended for runners who overpronate, which means your foot rolls inwards when you land. For more information, visit our Pronation Guide.
What level of comfort are you looking for?
All runners have different cushioning preferences. The more cushioning, the softer the ride.
ASICS has developed innovative cushioning technologies that are strategically placed to reduce impact. By minimising impact, our cushioning technologies increase the level of comfort to give you an even softer ride.
