The EX89™ is rooted in basketball heritage. Based on the GEL-EXTREME, this was the maiden work of designer Mr.Toshikazu Kayano, a pioneering item in colored basketball shoes (white-based shoes were the standard at that time). EX89™ was redesigned by Tateishi Yoshinori.
The ASICS SPORTSTYLE EX89™ sneaker will feature original-inspired makeups with four iterations of team colour blocking and neutral versions constructed with classic lifestyle materials.
Made for basketball, reinvented for the street. Inspired by roots in basketball, the EX89™ has been retooled for lifestyle.
