RUN FOR REFORESTATION CHALLENGE (RUNKEEPER) TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The “Run For Reforestation RunKeeperTM” Challenge (“RK Challenge”) is organised by ASICS ASIA Pte. Ltd. (“ASICS”) in accordance with these Terms & Conditions applicable to all the participants (each a “participant” / “you”).
  2. To participate in the RK Challenge, participant is required to (a) download the ASICS RunKeeperTM mobile application and register an account, (b) complete the RK Challenge between 12st April to 30th April 2024 (participants have the option to complete any 5K running, trail running, walking, hiking, plogging or wheelchair activities logged via GPS or Stopwatch) and track his/her activity with the RunkeeperTM app, (c) publicly post his/her achievement and/or running photos on Instagram with a short post on the RK Challenge and their sustainability efforts this Earth Month, with the hashtags: #ASICSSG, #ASICSustainability, #RunForReforestation, #MoveYourMindWithASICS and mention @asicssg, and (d) be a registered OneASICSTM member (check of OneASICSTM member status will be conducted before winners’ are announced) (“Requirements”). Your participation in RK Race is hereinafter referred to as “Participation”.
  3. Any Participation that does not meet the Requirements (including if your Participation is not recorded) will not be considered.
  4. By fulfilling the above Requirements, participant shall stand a chance to win a pair of ASICS shoes or apparels (referred to as “Prize”). The top three (3) winners with the most liked post on Instagram will win the following:
    1. 1st prize: A pair of ASICS running shoes and sustainability products from Bamboo Straw Girl and The Green Collective.
    2. 2nd prize: A pair of ASICS running shoes
    3. 3rd prize: ASICS apparels
  5. ASICS’s decision in respect of the Prize shall be final and no correspondence shall be entertained.
  6. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash or any other items.
  7. Participants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to participate in the RK Challenge.
  8. The RK Challenge is exclusively for participants from Singapore only.
  9. ASICS has sole discretion to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time and to exclude any person/ participant from participating in the RK Challenge without any obligations to furnish any notice and/or reason to the person/ participant.
  10. Where applicable, the Prize not claimed or collected will be irrevocably forfeited without any liability on the part of ASICS.
  11. The participant takes part in RK Challenge at his/her own risk. To the greatest extent permitted by the law, ASICS shall not be held liable for any loss, damage to property, personal injury or death howsoever arising in connection with the RK Challenge.
  12. By participating this RK Challenge, you acknowledge and agree to the following: -
    1. you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
    2. you consent to collection of your personal data to be used and/or disclosed by ASICS to communicate with you for the purposes related to the collection of the Prize and Participation in the RK Challenge in accordance with Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and ASICS’ Privacy Policy which can be found at: https://legal.asics.com/en-aap-sg/legal/privacy-policy
      1. you agree to: (i) provide true, accurate, current and complete personal data about yourself to ASICS and (ii) maintain and promptly update the personal data provided to ensure it stays true, accurate, current and complete. ASICS may contact you from time to time by email. Any notice sent to the email address provided you in relation to the RK Challenge shall be deemed as received by you.
      2. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete or if ASICS has grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, you will not be eligible to receive the Prize or take part in the RK Challenge.
      3. Photographs, videos, motion pictures, images, recordings and other forms of recordings (“Recordings”) may be taken during the RK Challenge, and hence a participant may be captured in these Recordings. Such Recordings may be used for the purposes of marketing, advertising, and other promotional purposes related to the RK Challenge (including to promote any further events which may be held after the RK Challenge). However, ASICS and/or the relevant business partners shall not be responsible for any Recordings which are not taken by ASICS and/or the relevant business partners during the RK Challenge.
      4. You have the right to withdraw your consent to the collection, use, and/or disclosure of your personal data by ASICS at any time. However depending on the nature of such withdrawal, a withdrawal of consent could result in the inability of ASICS from allowing you to participate in the RK Challenge or to receive the Prize.

        h. By participating in the RK Challenge, you certify and confirm that you have read and fully understand the terms and conditions provided above and consent to ASICS to use your personal data in accordance with the above purposes in accordance with ASICS’ Privacy Policy.
