The GEL-LYTE III 07 REMASTERED sneaker emerges in a special edition created to celebrate both the silhouette's 35th anniversary and the retirement of its original designer, Shigeyuki Mitsui.

Designed by Mitsui-san, the silhouette retains its iconic split-tongue formation that it debuted with in 1990. Meanwhile, key components like its signature GEL technology unit in the midsole continue to provide everyday comfort.

To honor this milestone, the collection is built around a deeply meaningful theme: "Coral." In Japanese, "35" can be read as "san-go," which also means coral—a wordplay rooted in Japanese culture, echoing the coral wedding anniversary celebrated at 35 years of marriage. Much like the GEL-LYTE III itself, coral is celebrated for its diversity, vibrant colors, and longevity, making it a fitting metaphor for the silhouette's enduring popularity and design flexibility across three decades.
