Our Favorite Sportstyle Shoes for Spring

Throw it all the way back to 2008 with the GEL-1130 sneaker. Originally part of the GEL-1000 series, this shoe offers a retro TRUSSTIC^® stability system and GEL^® technology cushioning. The easy question is, can you rock a late 2000s aesthetic? (We believe in you.) The hard question is, do you like white/cloud ​​grey or white/malachite green better? (We couldn’t decide.) ​GEL-KAYANO^® 14

The GEL-KAYANO® 14 Sportstyle shoe keeps the theme of the late 2000s; or rather, GEL-KAYANO^® shoes have been the theme since 2008. It’s still a vibe. Our pick for spring is the white/malachite green colorway, but it’s hard to go wrong with this classic look. If you want to kick it back even further in time, you can look totally bodacious in the EX89 Sportstyle shoe. We love the white/ivy colorway for spring. Designed by Toshikazu Kayano, this style was introduced with the 1989 GEL-EXTREME shoe after his first time traveling to the United States for business in 1987. You can see these influences in the design: for example, the outsole mimics a city skyline. The EX89 shoe carries this legacy design into the future with eco-friendly manufacturing practices and FF BLAST cushioning.

GEL-LYTE^® V

For the GEL-LYTE® V shoe, we go back to 1993 when a design was born from the discarded ideas left on a cutting room floor.
