Warranty-Defective Product Claims

At ASICS we stand behind our products and are happy to assist you if you have any issues with the quality or performance of our gear.

Limited Warranty

ASICS America Corporation (“ASICS”) warrants to the original end-user consumer purchaser (“Consumer”) in the United States and its territories that ASICS’: (i) footwear products will be free from manufacturing defects for one (1) year from the date of delivery to the original Consumer; and (ii) apparel and accessory products will be free from manufacturing defects for six (6) months from the date of delivery to the original Consumer unless a different warranty period is specified for the product. For the purposes of this Limited Warranty, “date of delivery” means the date upon which the original Consumer first takes physical possession of the product, whether at the time of sale for in-store purchases or upon delivery to the designated shipping address for online orders; provided, however, that if a product is purchased through an ASICS-authorized online retailer and ASICS does not have access to delivery records, the Limited Warranty for that product will be deemed to begin seven (7) calendar days after the date of original purchase, unless the Consumer provides proof of a later delivery date.

This Limited Warranty applies only to ASICS products that were purchased by the Consumer directly from ASICS or an ASICS-authorized retailer that is subject to ASICS’ quality control requirements and is in full compliance with ASICS’ required policies and procedures, unless otherwise prohibited by law, and it does not extend or apply to any product accessories or removable parts, such as shoelaces and insoles. This Limited Warranty does not extend to any subsequent owner or consumer or any other transferee of the product. ASICS reserves the right to reject any warranty claim from a Consumer related to ASICS products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including ASICS products sold on unauthorized internet sites, or from a Consumer that is unable to produce a valid proof of purchase for the product. This Limited Warranty does not cover any defects due to improper fit, normal wear and tear, damage due to improper use, misuse or abnormal usage, improper transportation or storage, natural degradation of colors or materials (including waterproofing), failure to follow product instructions, modification or alteration to the product, unauthorized repair, or negligence. ASICS may change the availability or terms of this Limited Warranty at its discretion, but any such changes will not be retroactive.

Consumers who wish to submit a warranty claim pursuant to this Limited Warranty based upon a product manufacturing defect must submit a claim to ASICS via the form below. A copy of the Consumer’s proof of purchase for the defective product is required for all claims and ASICS reserves the right to reject any warranty claim that does not include and is not supported by a valid proof of purchase. ASICS may follow up with you for additional information when reviewing your claim. If after reviewing and verifying your claim, ASICS determines, in its sole discretion, that a product is defective and covered by this Limited Warranty, ASICS will replace the product at no cost to you. In the event that the original product is not available, ASICS reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a different product of comparable value.  The warranty period for all replaced products is the remainder of the relevant portion of this Limited Warranty on the original product and will not be extended. By submitting a warranty claim, you acknowledge and agree that all approval or rejection of claims are final, and that ASICS is solely responsible at its sole discretion for determining the replacement product.

This Limited Warranty and the remedies set forth herein are exclusive and in lieu of all others, whether oral or written, expressed, implied, or statutory. Unless otherwise required by applicable law: (i) there are no warranties which extend beyond those provided herein; and (ii) such warranties do not extend to any product purchased through the ASICS Road Tested program. Any implied warranties that may be applicable to the products, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are expressly disclaimed by ASICS to the maximum extent permitted by law and otherwise are limited in duration to the duration of the applicable warranty periods above. Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. In no event and under no circumstances shall ASICS be liable in excess of the actual amount paid for the product and/or for any special, incidental, or consequential damages based upon breach of this limited warranty, breach of contract or strict liability. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State. Where any term of this Limited Warranty is prohibited by applicable local law, such term shall be null and void or shall be deemed modified so as to be consistent with such local law, and, in either case, the remainder of this Limited Warranty shall remain in effect.

This Limited Warranty is governed by and construed in accordance with ASICS’ Terms and Conditions of Use, which apply to all matters not explicitly addressed herein and do not contradict the terms set forth in this Limited Warranty. By purchasing and using this product, you are agreeing and accepting the terms of this Limited Warranty, ASICS’ Terms and Conditions of Use, and you consent to our practices as set forth in our Privacy Policy.

Making a Limited Warranty Claim

If you believe that your product has failed due to a manufacturing defect, please complete and submit the fields below or contact ASICS Customer Service at (855) 233-3120 during the product’s applicable Limited Warranty period.

For all claims, you are required to submit a valid proof of purchase indicating when and where you purchased the product and images of the product itself. Claims that do not include all required information cannot be reviewed and will be denied. Please note that it can take up to 4-6 weeks to review and process your claim.

By submitting the information below or contacting ASICS Customer Service through the provided phone number, you represent that: (i) the information you provide to ASICS is accurate, complete, and truthful; (ii) the number you are calling from or provide, and/or the email address you provide, are your own phone number and email address, and (iii) you consent to receive call(s) and/or email(s) from an ASICS representative with regard to your warranty claim.
