Preorder and Backorder FAQs

We offer Preorder and Backorder on select shoes and apparel.

A Preorder is an order for a style that has not yet been released and is not currently available, but likely will be in the future. Placing a Preorder will reserve the item for you prior to its release. Once the item is officially released and in stock, your Preorder will be processed and shipped to you.

A Backorder is for a Product that is not currently available due to lack of stock, including due to Product delays and shipping. Placing an order for a Backorder item will reserve the item for you until it is back in stock. Once the item is back in stock, your Backorder will then be processed and shipped to you.

If a Product is available for Preorder, a badge will be included on the Product webpage indicating that the Product is available for Preorder. If the Product does not have a Preorder badge, it is not currently available for Preorder, as applicable. Once you select the color and size of the item you would like to Preorder, the estimated shipping date will show up above the “Add to Cart” button. If a Product is currently sold out but available for Backorder, once you select the color and size of the item, the expected shipping date will show above the “Add to Cart” button.

The shipping date for Preordered and Backordered items is subject to change. If the anticipated shipping date changes, you will receive an email notification. You may cancel your Preordered or Backordered items if you do not accept the changed shipping date.

The estimated shipping date can be found in your order history next to each line item. Once the item begins processing, you will receive an email. And once your order ships, you will receive an email containing the shipment information and tracking details.

You will be requested to provide billing and payment information and method in connection with your Preorder or Backorder. You won’t be charged for the order until it ships if you purchase using a Credit Card, Gift Card, or Apple Pay. If you purchase using PayPal, you will be charged at the time of purchase.

Depending on how long it takes to for your order to ship, we may re-authorize to verify your card is still valid and your account balance is sufficient.

Preordered and Backordered items can be cancelled in your order history at any time before the order(s) is ready to ship. If you are a OneASICS Member, follow the steps below to cancel your Preordered or Backordered items:

1. Follow this link to login to your OneASICS account.

2. Click into your Order History.

3. Click into the Order Details of the Preordered or Backordered items you would like to cancel.

4. Click the “Cancel” button next to the Preorder or Backorder item(s):

a. If your cancel request was successful, you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.
