Comparing GEL-NIMBUSĀ® 28 and GEL-NIMBUSĀ® 27
The GEL-NIMBUSĀ® 28 shoe is here with more comfort to move body and mind. Hereās what to expect in the latest iteration of our cloudlike daily trainer.

Who is the GEL-NIMBUSĀ® shoe for?
Since 1999, runners have turned to the GEL-NIMBUSĀ® series for cloudlike cushioning and legendary comfort. Consider trying the GEL-NIMBUSĀ® 28 shoe if you want:
- A soft, high-cushion feel underfoot
- Neutral or underpronation support
- A plush daily trainer suitable for long-distance or recovery runs
- A style that's been found to promote good foot health by the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA)

Whatās familiar
Fans of the GEL-NIMBUSĀ® series will recognize these key features in the GEL-NIMBUSĀ® 28 shoe:
- PureGEL⢠technology in the heel for soft landings, impact absorption, and smooth transitions
- FF BLAST⢠PLUS cushioning for a lightweight feel and cloudlike comfort

Whatās new
As always, we implemented our philosophy of kaizen (ācontinuous improvementā) to make the GEL-NIMBUSĀ® 28 shoe more comfortable than ever.
First, the GEL-NIMBUSĀ® 28 shoe is approximately 20g lighter than the GEL-NIMBUSĀ® 27 shoe. A few different material and design updates make this possible, including the
redesigned HYBRID ASICSGRIP⢠outsole, which provides durable grip and a lighter feel.
Runners upgrading from the GEL-NIMBUSĀ® 27 shoe will also notice an updated engineered knit upper, which delivers more breathability for all-around comfort, and a new tongue loop that makes the shoe easier to slip on.
Lastly, the GEL-NIMBUSĀ® 28 shoe features a streamlined heel and pull-tab design that helps reduce overall weight.
