As part of the ASICS initiative for a sound Earth, we're offering shoes a second lap to reduce waste. Athletes can now purchase returned shoes through the Road Tested program at a discounted price. Road Tested shoes have been returned due to sizing, color, fit or other reasons. They're cleaned, repurposed and offered to the next athlete.


To increase our efforts, we are partnering with One Tree Planted to plant a tree for every pair of Road Tested shoes purchased.

The GEL-1090™ V2 sneaker from 2003 has been re-engineered with a modern lens. It's reworked with suede overlays and heel loops on the back for a more contemporary look.

Similar to the motion of a waving checkered flag, sweeping lines appear along the midsole. Meanwhile, the heel is layered with GEL™ technology to improve comfort.
