What features do the ASICS GEL-CONTEND™ shoes have?
The GEL-CONTEND™ series features some technologies that help enhance the shoe's comfort and durability. A jacquard mesh upper creates a comfortable fit by stretching with the natural motion of your foot while the synthetic stitching on the overlay works to provide more support.
The midsole also features GEL® technology and AMPLIFOAM™ that work together to create maximum cushioning while increasing the overall durability of this running shoe.
What is the difference between ASICS GEL-CONTEND™ and GEL-EXCITE™?
While the GEL-CONTEND™ and GEL-EXCITE™ models are both neutral running shoes, there are a few additional features that make these shoes different.
The GEL-CONTEND™ series provides more support and flexibility with the use of synthetic stitching and flex grooves in the outsole. The GEL-CONTEND™ model is also more sustainable with 20% of the main upper being made out of recycled materials.
