At ASICS, several of our performance running shoes carry the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA) Seal of Acceptance.
The seal recognizes products that are found to be beneficial to foot health, and earning it reflects our commitment to making movement feel better for everybody.

Human-Centric Design
For us, designing shoes is an exercise in innovation. Our design philosophy is based on kaizen, or “continuous improvement.” Each iteration of a running shoe is tested by elite athletes at the ASICS Institute of Sports Science in Kobe, Japan. Our analysis of human movement, combined with new advances in technology, helps us fine-tune our footwear for minimized injury risk and maximum comfort.

APMA Accepted
To earn the APMA Seal of Acceptance, products are reviewed by a committee of podiatrists — doctors who specialize in treating the foot, ankle, and structures of the leg — to ensure that they promote good foot health. The committee also assesses the product’s safety, quality control, and other data.
