Honoring the global heritage of Japan's history, the shoe features a retro color scheme and technical features designed to cushion and support your feet over long distances. The GEL-CUMULUS® 21 Retro Tokyo blends two different midsole foams - one for lightweight softness and another that adds a more responsive step. It also has rear and forefoot GEL® technology for premium level shock absorption. Our GUIDANCE LINE™ technology helps create a more efficient stride, while the internal heel counter holds your foot in position for added support. The shoe helps align your stride with smoother propulsion while a contoured EVA sockliner better matches the shape of your feet for added comfort. The durable outsole reduces wear at key impact areas and the engineered jacquard mesh upper helps keep the top of the foot cool. Reflective details on the outside of the shoe also promote better visibility in low-light settings.

A perfect shoe!I trained for and ran in a half marathon in these shoes and they were the perfect fit. As usual I took a half size up to accommodate more room in the toe box and these shoes were perfect. I love the padded area around the heel/ankle and that the laces don't move once you get them where you want them.

Great support for running and walkingI love the shoe, I took them to Florida to Orlando and they were excellent for walking a long period of time and standing i do wish and only draw back is planter wish it was bouncier and cushion-able for extra support

Love the Cumulus!I love these shoes! I tried another style of Asics and they just weren't the same. The cumulus style fits my foot like a glove and provides me the arch support that I need. I will buy another pair as soon as these were out
