The GEL-RESOLUTION® 8 tennis shoe promotes a responsive stride with a close-to-the-court feel. Support Still Strong Amidst Style & Design Changes
I've been retired from teaching Elementary PE for four years now. The Gel Resolution was my go-to shoe while teaching. The last year I taught I bought the Resolution 7 and still have that. Upon receiving this new Gel Resolution 8 I tried it on and despite the style changes over the years, the support of the Gel Resolution 8 still has the main-stay reliability of the Asics shoes. I'm going to order at least one more pair before they are gone!!

Shoes are fine for aggressive running and turning.
The shoes feel solid when running and turning hard. The fit is snug which gives me a lot of confidence pushing off hard on the edges. My one small wish is that they would always have a dark blue shoe. That was the primary reason I bought the Resolution 8s instead of the Resolution 9s. Cross my fingers on the Resolution 10.
