Reach new heights with our highest midsole ever. The ASICS SUPERBLAST™ 2 stack height tops out at 45mm (1.77 inches) of super bouncy foam technology. Our advanced foam technologies deliver a low weight in our highest midsole ever.

ASICS SUPERBLAST™ 2 release date

The ASICS SUPERBLAST™ 2 PARIS was inspired by the “city of lights,” and debuted in July 2024. More exciting ASICS SUPERBLAST™ 2 colorways are planned. The next ASICS SUPERBLAST™ 2 release date in the U.S., with additional colorways, will be in September 2024.

How has the ASICS SUPERBLAST™ 2 improved on the previous model?

No matter which of the ASICS SUPERBLAST™ 2 running shoe colorways you choose, the new model combines FF BLAST™ PLUS ECO foam at the midsole for soft landings and energized toe-off, with FF TURBO™ PLUS at the forefoot for softer and more responsive cushioning. We also added the ASICSGRIP™ sole for better traction and advanced durability.

To keep you comfortable on longer runs, the woven mesh upper is stretchy, supportive and highly breathable. Moreover, the ASICS SUPERBLAST™ 2 trainer is a full 7 grams lighter than the previous model, an improvement you will notice on your longer runs.

As part of our commitment to sustainability, FF BLAST™ PLUS ECO foam incorporates 24% bio content, the upper is made from 75% recycled polyester and a zero-water dope dyeing process finishes the sockliner.

When deciding between ASICS SUPERBLAST™ 2 vs. NOVABLAST™ running shoes, consider your running style, goals and habits. NOVABLAST™ is a neutral daily trainer with extra rubber on the outsole for added durability, which adds more weight. If you want versatility, a lighter weight and comfort on fast-paced distances, choose ASICS SUPERBLAST™ long-distance running shoes.
