Taliyah Brooks ASICS Athlete 2024 Olympics

Meet Taliyah Brooks

  • Sport: Track & Field
  • Event: Heptathlon
  • Hometown: Wichita Falls, TX
  • Education: University of Arkansas

Taliyah is a multi-event track & field powerhouse. She was born and raised in Wichita Falls, TX, and broke multiple school records as a high school student athlete. She competed for the Arkansas Razorbacks in college, where she was an 8-time All-American, won an NCAA Division 1 Championship in the pentathlon, and earned her master’s degree in communications with a minor in legal studies.

As a professional, Taliyah specializes in the heptathlon, where athletes earn points as they compete in 7 events over two days: 100m hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200m, long jump, javelin, and 800m. She's spent the past two years training and competing, earning 2nd place at the 2023 USATF Outdoor Championships and a spot in the World Athletics Championships last summer in Budapest. This year, she won the 37th Multistars Heptathlon in Italy with a career-best score of 6,330 points.

With inspiring resilience and several recent wins under her belt, Taliyah has her sights set on the 2024 Track & Field Team Trials in Oregon. We’ll be cheering her on this June!

CJ Allen ASICS Athlete 2024 Olympics

Meet CJ Allen

  • Sport: Track & Field
  • Event: 400m Hurdle
  • Hometown: Allyn, WA
  • Education: Washington State University

CJ burst into 2024 with unprecedented momentum—and not just because he joined the ASICS family. If there was a Track & Field Wrapped slideshow for 2023, his would include winning the Los Angeles Grand Prix, representing the U.S. at the World Athletic Championships, and running a personal best time of 47.58. In fact, seven of CJ’s top 10 performances in the 400m hurdles happened last year!

CJ’s monumental year is the result of years of training and dedication to his event. Born and raised in Washington, he competed at Washington State University, where he was a team captain and 2-time NCAA Pac-12 Champion. Off the track, he resides in Atlanta and recently earned the title of Doctor of Chiropractic from Life University. His next hurdle (pun intended) will be at the U.S. Track and Field Team Trials in Oregon this June. Good luck, CJ!

We’re celebrating our athletes all year long. Read more athlete spotlights, plus gear guides and training tips in the ASICS blog!
