Introducing the GEL-CUMULUS® 25 neutral running shoes

The new GEL-CUMULUS® 25 neutral running shoe is an everyday trainer designed for runners who are looking for good cushioning with a more comfortable underfoot feel. Available on April 1, 2023, the GEL-CUMULUS® 25 model combines durability and functionality for both long and short distance running.

What kind of runners are the GEL-CUMULUS® 25 shoes made for?

Available for both men and women, the GEL-CUMULUS® 25 shoe offers advanced cushioning for runners with a neutral pronation. Featuring full-length FF BLAST™ PLUS midsole and PureGEL™ technology, this model helps create a softer and more responsive landing during your training sessions. If you enjoy distance running of any kind and want to prioritize comfort under your feet, the GEL-CUMULUS® 25 model is the shoe you're looking for.

What are the main differences between the GEL-CUMULUS® 24 and GEL-CUMULUS® 25 models?

The GEL-CUMULUS® 25 neutral running shoe features some updated technologies to help improve the shoe's cushioning, comfort and underfoot feel. The new midsole design features a single layer of FF BLAST™ PLUS cushioning and a 2mm stack height increase, making this the most cushioned GEL-CUMULUS® model to-date. The rearfoot PureGEL™ technology is lighter and softer than previous versions of the material, allowing for a softer and smoother transition during your stride.

The GEL-CUMULUS® 25 running shoe is also more sustainable than previous models, with roughly 90% of the shoe's upper polyester being made out of recycled materials.

Is the GEL-CUMULUS® 25 shoe good for stability?

The appeal of a neutral running shoe is the potential for more flexibility and movement. While the GEL-CUMULUS® 25 shoe offers comfort for runners with a neutral pronation, stability isn't the highlight of this model. If you're looking for more motion control or have an excessive pronation, check out the GEL-KAYANO® or GT-1000® models, or any of the shoes from our Stability collection.
