Designed For Underpronation Neutral

  • Foot Type

    High arches
  • Push Off

The pressure is on smaller toes on outside of foot.
  • Considered Injuries

Plantar fasciitis, shin splints, ankle strain.
  • How your foot contacts the ground

The outer side of the heel hits the ground at an increased angle with little or no normal pronation, causing a large transmission of shock through the lower leg.

  • Foot Type

    Normal size arches
  • Push Off

There is even distribution from the front of the foot.
  • Considered Injuries

Less likely due to effective shock absorption, but neutral runners are not immune to injury.
  • How your foot contacts the ground

The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.
Experience lasting comfort with GEL-NIMBUS® 22 (Wide) running shoe. Packed with technologies to improve the performance of neutral runners, this iteration of this running shoe delivers a blend of cushioning and a responsive stride, featuring a softer GEL® cushioning unit in the heel for excellent shock absorption. Additionally, our performance running style is complemented with a wide fit for runners who require more width in their footwear. Improved forefoot GEL® technology further reduces the load on feet, while the FLYTEFOAM® Propel technology in the midsole delivers more energetic ride. Featuring TRUSSTIC™ technology under the arch of the shoe, this thermoplastic piece provides stability, reduces weight and helps extend the life of the shoe. The lightweight, engineered mesh upper allows your feet to experience improved breathability, while offering a supportive and adaptable fit. Designed with high mileage runners in mind, the GEL-NIMBUS® 22 shoe implements more foam in the midsole to reduce the severity of harsh impact. Additionally, a lightweight AHAR® outsole reduces the overall level of wear, allowing you to spend more time focusing on your running workouts. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a beginner, the GEL-NIMBUS® 22 (Wide) performance running shoe is designed to deliver soft cushioning and a more responsive stride.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great shoe for my feet, but... I've had these for about a year - I was recommended these shoes by my podiatrist for my pronation. They fit my wide feet and orthotics great, however I can't go past how easily these shoes wear and tear!! Within the first three months I saw signs of wear in the mesh fabric over the toes. It has only gotten worse, and am close to my toes hanging out, especially the pinky toes. It's a real shame as these have been some of the comfiest shoes I have owned. Disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Bad quality Bad Quality!!!! Wast of money. I bought them on 2 August last summer. I cannot remember when I received it. What I am sure is that I have not had any chance to do exercise with them because I have suffered from low back pain since the late of August. I only wear them for walking: visiting my doctors, walking to Campus to have class, or hanging out with my friends sometimes when I feel better. However, they worn out quickly. See photos below. Compared to my previous shoes (other brand) bought in the Spring 2017 (Please see the last photo. Yes, the texture is so good that you cannot find any broken holes or part!! What is important is that I wear that pair almost every day until last August. I still wear them sometimes even now ), this pair of shoes disappointed me very much.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worse sneakers ever! My feet never hurt as bad as they did with these ASICS sneakers. I could barely walk a mile without the balls of my feet in excruciating pain. I would not recommend these at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shoes but not for my feet. I'm sure these are great shoes but they just weren't for my feet/ankle. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome shoes for wide feet I recently started running and went to a proper running store to get fitted. I was given a few selection and I chose the Nike Pegasus. It was terrible for someone with wide feet, I was getting pains while running and it was unbearable. I decided to give the nimbus a try and I’m now in week 10 and it is indeed the most amazing shoes to run in. I would recommend it to anyone with wide feet.
