Neutral, Stability
Strategically constructed to take on the unexpected conditions of the trails, the GT-2000™ 8 Trail running shoe is equipped with excellent cushioning and traction features to navigate the road less traveled in comfort. The GT-2000™ 8 Trail model incorporates GEL® technology based cushioning in the forefoot and rearfoot to suppress impact on the trail head's varying surfaces, while delivering excellent comfort throughout your running workout. DYNAMIC DUOMAX® componentry in the midsole works in conjunction with GUIDANCE SYSTEM™ technology to keep overpronation at bay, while creating a smooth transition in each step. In order to create a faster response in your stride, this shoe implements our FLYTEFOAM® technology that returns to its original state after releasing from ground contact. Additionally, this style's outsole is complemented with a lugged traction pattern to increase grip on loose and slippery surfaces. Fused with engineered cushioning and strategic traction properties, the GT-2000™ 8 Trail running shoe is set to stand up to adventures that might encounter unexpected conditions.

Designed For Neutral Overpronation

  • Foot Type

    Normal size arches
  • Push Off

There is even distribution from the front of the foot.
  • Considered Injuries

Less likely due to effective shock absorption, but neutral runners are not immune to injury.
  • How your foot contacts the ground

The foot lands on outside of the heel, then rolls inward (pronates) to absorb shock and support body weight.

  • Foot Type

    Low arches or flat feet
  • Push Off

Big toe and second toe do majority of the work.
  • Considered Injuries

Shin splints, plantar fasciitis, bunions, heel spurs.
  • How your foot contacts the ground

The foot lands on outside of heel, then rolls inward (pronates) excessively, transferring weight to inner edge instead of ball of the foot.
  • Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL® Technology Cushioning System
Attenuates shock during impact and toe-off phases, and allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle.
  • Dynamic DuoMax™ Support System
This evolution of DuoMax® system enhances stability and support, with reduced weight and increased platform support.
  • Trusstic System® technology
Reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe.
  • Trail Specific Outsole
Reversed lugs provide uphill and downhill traction on all types of terrain.
  • Engineered mesh upper improves breathability

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit from first trying on My shoes fit perfectly from the moment I put them on. I did several hikes up and down rough terrain in WA state at Mt. Baker without breaking them in first, and the fit and felt great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Would like it made for the mountains I use these in the mountains a lot where i sometimes need to scramble on rocks. Would help if there was more torsional control and a more secure fit. Otherwise, a great shoe

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hurt my feet,I need more support Unfortunately these hurt my feet badly the few times I tried to wear them and nothing I can do about returning them. I thought I had gotten this type before but definitely wasn't as comfortable,I realize I needed a bit of cushion and support, I'm on my feet allot!
