The latest VANDYTHEPINK collaboration for the GEL-KAYANOÂź 12.1 sneaker draws inspiration from 아읎슀쌀킀 (ice-ke-ki)—the nostalgic Korean term for the ice cream and popsicles and how American influences reached Korea. The shoe features two nostalgic colorways that evoke early feelings of wonder while connecting back to the inspiration of the frozen treats.

The upper features a combination of synthetic leather overlays open mesh underlays that help keep feet cool and comfortable. VANDYTHEPINK's signature flower moniker appears on the heel's woven tag, while ice cream caricatures are stamped on the sockliners.

The midsole features the same tooling system as the GEL-NIMBUS¼ 17 shoe. It was originally engineered for comfort during the marathons, featuring dual GEL¼ technology inserts and a FLUIDRIDEℱ technology cushioning structure.
