GEL-LYTE III OG (OCHAZOME)

The GEL-LYTE™ III OG sneaker from the OCHAZOME™ draws inspiration from traditional Japanese tea ceremonies. Its upper is formed with cotton materials that were colored with a dye extracted from leftover rooibos tea production processes. 

Designed by Shigeyuki Mitsui in 1990, the GEL-LYTE™ III silhouette retains its iconic split-tongue formation. It was a feature that initially debuted on the GEL-LD RACER™ shoe.

Meanwhile, key components, like its signature GEL™ technology unit in the midsole provides everyday comfort.

The ASICS' sunflower icon represents our commitment to preserving the earth for future generations, growing healthier and more positive in both mind and body. ​This icon is applied to ASICS footwear made in part of at least 20% recycled materials in the shoe's main upper​.
