What gear do I need to start running?

When starting out, it’s hard to know what to buy first. It's good to get a few pieces of good, all-round gear – shoes, comfortable clothing, hats and socks – that suit the current weather. For example, if you’re running in cold conditions, consider getting some good men's winter running gear. After that, you can experiment with what’s right for you, and add to your collection from there.
