What does a carbon fiber plate do in running shoes?
The carbon fibre plate serves as a springy base that propels you forwards with each stride to increase running efficiency, speed, and performance. In ASICS' carbon plate running shoes range, carbon plates are combined with other ASICS technologies to create a cushioned and energetic ride, aimed to reduce energy loss and increase propulsion. As they are lightweight and responsive, carbon plate running shoes can be a fantastic next step in your race preparation if you are competing, fast training, or wanting to increase the performance you have in your regular running shoes.
