Designed to help you reach higher speeds by propelling your stride forward while experiencing a powerful energy return.

Experience incredible speed with the METASPEEDā„¢ RAY shoe, our pinnacle racing product, designed for elite runners who are looking to start fast and finish faster on race day.

Our lightest shoe at just 129g. The shoe is formed with a lightweight carbon plate that is designed to stabilise the midsole foam and combines to aid in forward propulsion, helping to maintain your pace and giving you a vital advantage at the later stages of the race.

Engineered with advanced technology to enhance running efficiency, the newly designed FF LEAPā„¢ foam technology is strategically positioned in the midsole to provide elite runners with the power and propulsion they need to maintain a competitive marathon pace – sub 3 or faster.

The METASPEEDā„¢ RAY shoe is designed for the elite runner to use on race day and is not suitable for training purposes.

A MATRYXĀ® upper material helps keep the shoe extremely lightweight while keeping your foot secure at fast paces.

The shoe also implements ASICSGRIPā„¢ technology in the outsole to help provide grip on various surfaces, including wet terrain.

These shoes undergo rigorous athlete testing and biomechanical analysis, backed by decades of innovation to ensure optimal comfort for both body and mind.

The price point reflects the cutting-edge technology and premium materials used in the METASPEEDā„¢ RAY.

The Elite's Choice: ASICS athlete Andy Buchanan successfully defended his title with a time of 1:01:08, beating the course record and the Australian All-Comers record at the recent 2025 Gold Coast Half Marathon.
