Black | GT-2000 Structured Running Shoes

What makes the GT-2000™ model so popular as a daily trainer is the lightweight stability built into its design. The platform geometry and controlled deformation of the 3D GUIDANCE SYSTEM™ offer on-demand stability, while the outsole and midsole designs are responsive, capturing more energy return for a noticeable bounce at toe-off. The energetic FF BLAST™ MAX foam works with the rearfoot PureGEL™ technology for balanced, yet cloud-like cushioning. The ASICS GT-2000™ women's range spans narrow through to wide fits, so it's easier to find the right shape for your foot.

Each version of the ASICS GT-2000™ structured running shoe is designed for heel strikers, flat-foot runners and those who overpronate. If you tend toward plantar fasciitis, you will appreciate the cushioning system in the GT-2000™ series. It combines the cloud-like softness of GEL™ technology with FF BLAST™ cushioning for gentler landings and a responsive energy return in each step. The 3D GUIDANCE SYSTEM™ helps keep you balanced and surefooted.

No, the ASICS GT-2000™ is a structured, stability running shoe rather than a neutral one. It's built for heel strikers, flat-foot runners and those who overpronate, using the 3D GUIDANCE SYSTEM™ to keep your stride supported rather than left to move freely the way a neutral shoe would.

The ASICS GT-2000™ 15 shoe will be available in Australia in early August 2026.

Updated cushioning and a lighter footprint are behind the advances found in the GT-2000™ 15 structured running shoe. Some of the confirmed differences between the GT-2000™ 14 and 15 include:

• Lighter weight with more cushioning: the GT-2000™ 15 shoe reduces weight while increasing total stack height compared to the GT-2000™ 14 model.
• Enhanced energy return: the shoe's midsole features an updated FF BLAST™ MAX foam that improves bounce while maintaining the same stable ride.
• New engineered woven upper: updated for a secure, breathable fit that adapts to the foot’s natural movement.

Fit can vary between shoe styles and widths, so it's worth checking before you buy. Our size guide breaks down measurements by foot length and width across the GT-2000™ range's narrow, standard and wide options. For a more precise read on fit, ASICS stores offer Foot-ID, a complimentary in-store gait analysis that assesses your foot shape and running style before you commit to a pair.
