Co-created with atmos, the GEL-KAYANOā„¢ 12.1 sneaker takes design details from the version that launched in 2006 and pairs them with a modern tooling system. The colorway looks to Indonesia ā€” the greens inspired by Javanese heritage and streetscapes, set against the warm haze that hangs over Jakarta.

A cream mesh and synthetic upper carries moss green overlays at the heel, with a brighter green surfacing at the tongue label and through the midsole. Open mesh underlays help improve airflow to keep feet cool. A printed sockliner and gum outsole finish the build.

The midsole uses the same tooling system as the GEL-NIMBUSā„¢ 17 shoe, originally engineered for comfort over marathon distance, with dual GELā„¢ technology inserts and a FLUIDRIDEā„¢ cushioning structure.
