The GEL-KAYANO™ LITE 2 is the socially conscious, stability shoe.

The standout feature of the GEL-KAYANO™ LITE 2 is the highly sculptural midsole design, thanks to 3D tools to help accurately analyse shoe deformation.The medial heel bulges convexly to cradle the excessive medial rearfoot spill and the lateral forefoot is splayed to give large surface area in which to disperse great forefoot load.

Combined with internal vertical pillars, the midsole works not only to stabilise excessive pronation at midstance, but it has unparalleled durability.The footprint of this shoe is wider at the heel, midfoot and forefoot than the other stability models and it incorporates the ASICSGuidance Line to promote forward flow.

The FLYTEFOAM™(eco) midsole has a component of cellulose nano fibre, a relatively new biomass that not only supports environment preservative initiatives but is light and exceptionally durable.

The upper is seamless, has components derived from plant material and is highly porous.The GEL-KAYANO™LITE 2is approximately 5%-10% lighter than the GEL-KAYANO™28,or 1/10th of the weight of the cell phone which runners’ often strap to their arm.
