Cecilie Bahnsen announces her next collaboration with ASICS Sportstyle and reimagines the GEL-TERRAIN™ sneaker with a mid-top construction and ​chic design elements.

The second time using the base-model of the Gel-Terrain, Bahnsen’s design sees the model reconstructed with two distinct executions. This model features a shiny, quilted upper with intricate floral embroidery, layered beneath a semi-transparent, no-sew overlay for a delicate yet protective finish, with a neoprene sock construction for enhanced comfort.

The two sneakers exist in dialogue mirroring each other in contrast and complement. A study in duality: bold yet restrained, structured yet soft, technical yet feminine.Dynamic lines from early ASICS trail running models are met with no-sew elements and a mid-top design. These details are also complemented with floral embellishments and a toggled speed-lacing system.

The tooling was borrowed from the GT-2000™ 8 sneaker. It combines FLYTEFOAM™ cushioning and GEL™ technology to help create a lightweight and energized feel for everyday scenarios.​
