The JAPAN S PLATFORM shoes are based on one of our throwback offerings from 1981.

This exclusive style has been designed in a three-way collaboration with fashion brand jouetie and women’s sneaker specialty shop atmos pink. This women's exclusive silhouette has been reimagined with neutral tones, while the traditional midsole has been replaced with a platform design.

The shoe is available in two color schemes: ”pink with zebra stripes adorning the sockliner and heel logos, and beige with an exquisite mix of animal and check patterns. Both styles reflect the style of Jouetie Creative Director AMIAYA, who mixes varied boundary-defying tastes in a unique expression.

Mimicking the aesthetic of a retro basketball sneaker, this heritage style is also paired with nostalgic branding, like the ASICS Stripes on the quarter-panels and "ASICS" lettering at the heel.

The JAPAN S PLATFORM shoe's vintage basketball aesthetic is paired with iconic court-specific details that are inspired by footwear worn on the hardwood by basketball players in the 80s.
