Taking a closer look at the carbon footprint of our selected shoes across their journey, from design to delivery, is how we better understand their impact on the world around us. Because understanding impact is the first step towards better choices.
Our carbon footprint label
This label reflects our commitment to transparency regarding our carbon emissions. Using a life cycle assessment methodology, we calculate and disclose the greenhouse gas emissions generated across each stage of a product’s life cycle, so you can better understand its impact.

We launched the world's lightest CO₂ emissions shoe (GEL-LYTE™ III CM 1.95)
2025
In 2025, ASICS reduced CO₂ emissions by 44.8% from Scope 1 and 2 direct operations (compared to 2015). These reductions apply to direct operations only and do not include Scope 3 value chain emissions, which represent the majority of our total environmental impact. Scope 1 and 2 emissions data were subject to limited assurance by an accredited third party.
