The GEL-1090™ running shoe from 2003 has been re-engineered with a modern lens while retaining its signature design details. Inspired by the lines of a motorcycle, this shoe is meant to emphasise the notion of speed.

Reissued with a simplified upper construction, this retro running shoe preserves its influential features, such as the tiger claw marks on the toe overlays and heel counter.

Like the motion of a waving checkered flag, sweeping lines appear along the midsole, while the heel implements GEL™ cushioning to increase comfort.
