The GEL-SONOMA™ 7 GTX is a durable, neutral trail shoe that offers the recreational trail runner good grip on off-road surfaces. The GTX version is formed with a GORE-TEX™ membrane that helps keep your feet warm and dry when you're running in wet conditions.

Underfoot comfort stems from a full-length AMPLIFOAM™ midsole and GEL™ technology unit that's strategically placed where cushioning is needed.

Lastly, the trail-specific outsole is functional for providing advanced traction. Its pattern helps you experience a confident stride on the uphill and downhill sections of challenging terrain.

  • Foot Type

    Normal to high arches
  • Push Off

There is even distribution from the front of the foot.
  • How your foot contacts the ground

The foot lands on the outside of the heel, then rolls inward to absorb shock and support body weight, or pressure remains on outside of the foot through to toe-off.
  • For those who appreciate cushioning and don’t require additional support.

Underpronation

  • Foot Type

    High arches
  • Push Off

The pressure is on smaller toes on outside of foot.
  • How your foot contacts the ground

The outer side of the heel hits the ground at an increased angle with little or no normal pronation, causing a large transmission of shock through the lower leg.
  • GORE-TEX™ membrane helps prevent rain and snow from entering the shoe's interior
  • At least 20% of the shoe's main upper material is made with recycled content to reduce waste and carbon emissions
  • The sockliner is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to the conventional dyeing technology
  • AMPLIFOAM™ cushioning helps create a soft feeling underfoot
  • Rearfoot GEL™ technology improves impact absorption and creates a softer feeling at footstrike
  • Solid rubber outsole
