Your role in our shared journey

Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll contribute to our mission by supporting the Group Financial Control team with essential month-end closing activities and financial reporting processes for ASICS Europe. As an intern, you'll gain practical experience in corporate finance operations, assisting with account reconciliations, consolidation activities, and audit documentation whilst developing your understanding of international financial control practices.

Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step. 

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Assist with month-end closing activities for ASICS Europe to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain financial records and perform basic account reconciliations to support the financial control team.
• Support data collection and validation for regular financial reporting to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Gather and organise documentation for internal and external audits to facilitate the audit process.
• Maintain audit documentation in designated systems and support the filing of J-SOX documentation.

You have the following skills:

• Must be enrolled at a Dutch University for the entire duration of the internship.
• Availability from September for 5-6 months.
• Finance, Accounting or Business Administration studies.
• Strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and functions.
• Willingness to learn financial software such as SAP.
• Team-oriented approach with good communication skills.
